Community Partnerships


Youngcare was established to provide young Australians who have high care needs with relevant and dignified lifestyles as an alternative to the unsuitable aged care facilities that many young people are obligated to live in. In 2007 Youngcare opened the first ever Youngcare apartments, in Sinnamon Park QLD. These apartments allow a limited amount of young people with disabilities to enjoy a life fit for a young person, however there is still a lot of work to do. In support of the cause Bruce has worked with the Youngcare staff at their annual conference.
